Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene, which has a low crystallinity even with a high content of linked ethylene.
CONSTITUTION: The process for producing an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene, wherein ethylene is copolymerized with an α-olefin and as required with a diene as a termonomer in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst including a solid component of a catalyst based on titanium and aluminum which is supported on magnesium chloride and obtained in the form of a spherical granular solid by a special procedure.
