Abstract:
Compounds of the formula: are prepared from correspondingly substituted halogenovinylbenzenes and halogenoethylbenzenes by dehydrohalogenation. The compounds are known; they are suitable for use as antiphlogistics, analgesics and antipyretics. The novel process permits them to be prepared more easily and more cheaply. The meanings of the symbols R, Y and Y' are given in Claim 1.
