To provide a preparation for external use for skin that characteristically includes mineral water or geyserite (sulfur deposits from spring water) from a specific spring or a solvent extract therefrom as an active ingredient.
The specific mineral water, geyserite and/or extract from geyserite with solvent are formulated as active ingredients to give the objective preparation for external use for skin having excellent amelioration activity for skin roughening and acne, as well as the skin-whitening activity. The extract has excellent lipase inhibitory action and antimicrobial effect and shows high stability. In addition, the preparation for external use for skin including these extracts and specific components manifests excellent safety, high amelioration of skin roughening and acne, excellent skin-whitening action and gives good application sensation.
