Abstract:

To provide a preparation for external use, which can give new excellent gloss to the hair and skin and further a moist touch.

This preparation for external uses is characterized by containing an organopolysiloxane compound having at least one quaternary ammonium salt group represented by the general formula (1): R5-(NR4-R3)n-NR1R2 (1) [R1 is a group represented by the general formula (2); R2 is H, a 1 to 10C monovalent hydrocarbon group or the same group as R1; R3 is a 2 to 10C divalent hydrocarbon group; R4 is H or the same group as R1; R5 is a 1 to 10C divalent hydrocarbon group; (n) is an integer of 0 to 3] in the molecule. Thereby, the preparation for external uses, capable of giving the new excellent gloss to the hair and the skin and further the moist touch can be obtained.
