PURPOSE: To obtain a cake free from sink mark and preservable for a long period, by filling a liquid core material in a water-soluble cup, applying a specific fat coating layer to the cup as a whole, and coating the coating layer with the base of the fat-based cake.
CONSTITUTION: As the first step, a liquid core material 10 optionally containing an enzyme is filled in a water-soluble cup 5. In the second step, the water-soluble cup 5 filled with the liquid core 10 is immersed in a molten oil or fat containing 0.9W3.0wt% of unsaponified component or an oil or fat is poured on the liquid core 10 and then the cup is immersed in the oil or fat to form the coating layer 11 of the oil or fat containing 0.9W3.0wt% of unsaponified component on the whole surface of the water-soluble cup 5 containing the liquid core 10. In the third step, the whole surface of the coating oil layer 11 is covered with the base 13 of the fat-based cake by coating or immersion.
