Abstract:
PURPOSE: To technologically easily prepare a fluorne-contg. ethane deriv. which does not adversely affect the environment with a high rate of conversion and high selectivity.
CONSTITUTION: An alkene or a halogen-contg. alkane of the formula; FkHmCl2-k-m-C=CX1X2 or FkHnCl3-k-nC-CY1Y2Y3 as a starting compd. is allowed to react with hydrogen fluoride in the liq. phase at 0-250°C. The reaction is accelerated with a catalytically active formulation contg. a tantalum fluorosulfonate compd. and/or niobium fluorosulfonate compd. and the objective fluorine-contg. ethane deriv. of the formula; FkHnCl3-k-nC-CZ1Z2F is prepf. In the formulae, [X1, X2, Y1, Y2, Z1 and Z2 are H, F, Cl or Br, Y3 is Cl or Br, (k) is 0-2, (m) is 0-2 and (n) is 1-3].
