Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a glass container having high design effect, by attaching glass filaments to the outer surface of the glass container, heat-treating it.
CONSTITUTION: For example, glass filaments made of soda lime are wound round a flowerpot having no pattern made of soda lime so that the desired parttern is formed on it. It is then heat-treated at a temperature ≥ the softening point of soda-lime glass, 620W760°C, and not to transform the flowerpot. The glass filaments are fused to the surface of the pot, to form the pattern.
