Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a door inner panel for long body vehicle with an excellent strength and a simple structure, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: A door inner panel 1 for a long body vehicle which is composed by jointing an extension panel 20 to a door inner panel 10 for a short body vehicle, and its manufacturing method, are provided. The door inner panel 10 and the extension panel 20 have plane parts 11 and 21 to form the panel surfaces at the car room side; vertical wall parts 12 and 22 extended in the rectangular direction; and flanges 13 and 23 jointed to an outer panel. The flange 13 is cut off, and the joint of the extension panel 20 is superposed to the joint of the door inner panel 10.
