Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance stress corrosion cracking resistance, by molding a rolled steel plate containing C, Si, Mn, P, S, Nb, V or the like in a predetermined ratio under a predetermined condition before electroseaming welding.

CONSTITUTION: Steel consisting of C≤0.13%, Si≤0.5%, 1W2% Mn, P≤0.02%, S≤0.01%, Nb≤0.05%, V≤0.05%, Ti≤0.04%, N≤0.01%, Ca≤0.006% and the remainder of Fe is subjected to hot finish rolling. After rolling is finished, the steel plate is quenched at a cooling speed of 30°C/sec or more by a run-out table. Subsequently, the quenched steel plate is wound up at 550°C or less. This wound steel plate is molded to be subjected to electroseaming welding.
