PURPOSE: To prepare even a high pressure hose without using a cement solution by a method wherein inner and outer tubes constituted of a chloroprene type rubber composition and the reinforcing layer present between both inner and outer tubes are vulcanized and bonded using a specific aliphatic polyamide fiber.

CONSTITUTION: A hose inner tube is extruded along with a mandrel and an aliphatic polyamide fiber immersed in a liquid mixture and subsequently heat- treated is braided on the inner tube as a reinforcing layer while a hose outer tube is extruded to perform vulcanization and adhesion. The chloroprene type rubber composition constituting the inner tube and/or outer tube of the hose contains chloroprene rubber in an amount of 30wt.% or more. The liquid mixture is prepared by adding an adhesion promoter for the rubber composition and the aliphatic polyamide fiber represented by formula to a liquid containing a precondensate of resorcine and formalin and vinyl pyridine/styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber latex. The aliphatic polyamide fiber contains an amide group and many kinds of different org. acid groups and is pref. composed of nylon 6 or nylon 66.
