Abstract:
PURPOSE: To separate and purify the titled compound, by adsorbing a compound having a chain isoprene skeleton containing at least three or more isoprene units on a nonpolar porous synthetic resin, and developing and eluting the compound with a safe polar solvent, e.g. methanol or water.
CONSTITUTION: An isoprene derivative, e.g. vitamin K, K2, E or coenzyme Q, is separated and purified by using a nonpolar synthetic resin as a porous synthetic resin and water, alcohol, ketone, dimethyl sulfoxide, N,N-dimethylformamide or acetonitrile as a developing and an eluting solvent.
EFFECT: The amount of the impurities adsorbed on the resin is very great, and the resin is usable repeatedly. The solvent is safe and inexpensive.
