PURPOSE: To obtain the titled safe factor having a high physiological activity, by transplanting homologous tumorous cell or heterologous cell to immunize a mammal, producing the titled factor in blood serum thereof, and separating and collecting the titled factor from the above-mentioned blood serum.

CONSTITUTION: A homologous tumorous cell or heterologous cell is inoculated subcutaneously or intraperitoneally to a mammal, e.g. a mouse or rat, and blood is collected therefrom after raising. Blood serum is separated from the collected blood, filtered and sterilized. An antiIg-sepharose column of the same kind as the animal used for producing the above-mentioned blood serum is prepared, and the blood serum is passed through the column by the affinity chromatographic method to remove an Ig fraction in the blood serum. The resultant blood serum is treated by combination of at least one of ion exchange, ultrafiltration or gel filtration to separate and collect the aimed killer T cell differentiation promoting factor.
