PURPOSE: To prepare a fully kneaded artificial powdery feed relatively easily in a short time, by previously cutting and crushing a live bait, mixing and kneading a powdery feed with the cut live bait, and further kneading the resultant mixture.

CONSTITUTION: Live baits, e.g. a live fish, are introduced from a hopper 4 into the first screw feeder 3 one after another, transferred while a little cut and crushed, regularly cut and crushed by a cutter 5 attached to the tip to overflow the contained moisture. The wet live baits and a small amount of water are then passed through a perforated plate 2 into an agitating chamber 6. A powdery feed is passed from a hopper 11 through a chute 7, dropped onto the live baits in the agitating chamber 6 and mixed with water. Most of the powder feed is stuck to the live baits, carried forward by blades 9 while kneaded with agitating blades 10 and dropped onto the rotating second screw feeder 18. Only the fully kneaded, cut and crushed live baits are carried forward one after another, cut by a cutter 20, and discharged as a kneaded artificial powdery feed from a perforated plate 17 at the tip of the agitating chamber 6.
