Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase dispersibility by dispersing in an organic solvent the spherical particles of a highmolecular composite material which is composed of ferromagnetic powder and thermoplastic resin having functional groups.
CONSTITUTION: A styrene-n-butyl acrylate copolymer 50wt. part and Fe3O4 50wt. part are mixed, and a composite thus formed is melted and kneaded at a temperature of 150°C in a laboplastomill and then cooled down to be cured. Thereafter it is roughly crushed. A crushed material thus obtained, 30wt. part, and polyethylene glycol which is incompatible substantially with the copolymer are agitated in flask and then cooled down. A coagulated material thus obtained is dried after the polyethylene glycol is removed therefrom.
