To provide a preparation method of an adhesive composition for protecting a Low-E glass plate against degradation or corrosion.SOLUTION: A preparation method of an adhesive composition for protecting a Low-E glass plate is provided. The method includes: a step of preparing an aqueous liquid; and a step of obtaining a polymer-including liquid that includes the aqueous liquid and a polymer. Here, the aqueous liquid satisfies at least one of the following conditions: (a) electric conductivity is less than 300 μS/cm; and (b) a chloride ion amount is less than 35 μg/mL.SELECTED DRAWING: None
