Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of halogenated polymer and copolymer, especially PVC good in white property, having no coloring or at least a little coloring, extremely less yellow discoloration or no yellow discoloration after molding or deforming the a polymer.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for aqueous suspending, micro suspending, emulsifying or microemulsion polymerizing at least one halogenated monomer, especially chlorinated monomer, for example vinyl chloride alone or together with one or more other vinyl monomer, preferably one or more other vinyl monomer of less than 50 wt.%, wherein at least one polymerization terminator and at least one perhalide which acts as a whitening agent are added.SELECTED DRAWING: None
