Abstract:
To provide a technology which slices a nail section in the direction perpendicular to an axis of thickness of a nail, that is, parallel to the growth direction of the nail.
A nail is fixed on a supporting structure and is put on a flat board with the fixed surface downward. From this lateral face, excluding the upper part of the supporting structure and the unfixed surface of the nail, the nail is embedded primarily with an embedding agent. While directing the part of the supporting structure not embedded in the primary embedding downward, the embedding agent is filled in from a lateral face on a fixing board to fix the nail. Thus, the nail section is prepared by sliding the fixed material from the upper part.
