Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an organosilicon polymer useful as electronic parts or the like which is crosslinkable and has a high heat-resistance, water resistance and electrical property, by allowing a specific cyclic polysiloxane to react with a specific polycyclic polyene at a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The objective crosslinked polymer is obtained by allowing (A) at least one compound chosen from the group consisting of a compound of formula I [wherein R is H, a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) alkoxy, a (substituted) aromatic group or the like; (n) is 3-20] and a compound of formula II to react with (B) at least one polycyclic polyene chosen from norbornadiene (dimer), (methyl)dicyclopentadiene, a cyclopentadiene oligomer, tricyclopentadiene, tetracyclopentadiene, (dimethano)hexahydronaphthalene and the like. Here, the ratio of C-C double bonds in component B to hydrosilane groups in component A is within the range of from 0.5/1 to 1.8/1, and at least one of components A and B has more than two reactive sites.
