PURPOSE: To enable a polyethylene layer and an emulsion layer to be easily stripped from a support without destroying an image and to prepare photographic paper having simple composition and low cost, by regulating lamination conditions of the polyethylene layer by casting.

CONSTITUTION: Polyethylene PE containing light reflectors is cast on a support under the lamination conditions which are represented by an optional point in the hexahedron formed by the following 8 points in the 3-dimensional coordinates where X, Y, and Z axes represent casting speed x m/min, PE layer thickness Y μ, and casting temp. z°C, respectively; (x=50, Y=60, z=270), (x=200, y=80, z=270), (x=50, y=30, z=270), (x=425, y=80, z=270), (x=50, y=40, z= 325), (x=350, y=80, z=325), (x=50, y=20, z=325), and (x=500, y=80, z=325). An emulsion layer is laminated on PE layer thus formed.
