PURPOSE: To obtain a polymeric polyol, capable of giving a polyurethane having improved weather resistance, and having improved fluidity, by reacting a specific polyol composition with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of a polymerization catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyol composition consisting of (i) polyoxypropylene and/ or polyoxyethylene polyol, (ii) polytetramethylene ether glycol, and if necessary (iii) a polyester polyol, polyester polyether polyol, polybutadiene polyol and/or hydroxyl-group containing vinyl polymer is reacted with (B) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of a polymerization catalyst, e.g. a free radical generating agent, to give the aimed polyol. Preferably, the amounts of the components are as follows: 20W95wt% component (i) and 5W80wt% component (ii) in the component (A).
