Abstract:
To provide an efficient preparation process of a polyolefin fine porous film which has a good permeability, a stable porosity with a fine pore size and a high strength without using any solvent.
A resin composition, which comprises from 5 to 50 wt.% polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of 200,000 or larger and from 95 to 50 wt.% water-soluble polymer, is extruded at a melt state from a ring die 4, cooled and solidified to convert it into a tube form, re-heated to expand the inside of the tube through air blowing and biaxially oriented by orienting in the take-off direction. Then, the water-soluble polymer is extracted and removed by water.
