Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A proline derivative of formulaI(R is an acyl connecting to an α-aminoacid of pivaloyl, cyclopropanecarbonyl, cyclohexanecarbonyl, or adamantane carbonyl; A is residue of glycine, sarcosine or α-D-aminoacid whose α-carbonyl forms an S-thiol ester bond) and its pharmacologically permissible salt.
EXAMPLE: N-[3-(N-Cyclohexanecarbonyl-D-alanylthio)-2-D-methylpropanoyl]-L- proline.
USE: Hypotensor: it inhibits the conversion of andiotensinIinto II. It hardly causes orthostatic hypotension with less side-effects.
PREPARATION: For example, the reaction of a compound of formula II (A' is glycine or sarcosine) with another compound of formula III (R' is H, COOH- protecting group) gives the compound of formulaI.
