PURPOSE: To obtain the titled bottle enabled in the formation of a thick coating film and excellent in gas barrier property, by a method wherein the inner and outer surfaces of a bottomed parison comprising saturated polyester are roughened to be coated with a gas barrier paint and the coated parison is subjected to orientation-blow molding.
CONSTITUTION: The inner surface and/or the outer surface of the barrel part 4' of a bottomed parison 1' comprising saturated polyester, for example, polyethylene terephthalate or the like are roughened, for example by applying shot peening and sand blasting to said parison 1' to obtain surface roughness, pref., with 25W150 mesh and the surface roughened parison 1' is coated with gas barrier paint 6 pref. comprising a vinylidene chloride copolymer while the coated bottomed parison 1' is dried and subjected to orientation-blow molding to obtain an objective bottle.
EFFECT: Said bottle is excellent in close adhesiveness of the coating film and the bottle main body and hardly generates blister or crack with the elapse of time after filling.
