Title:
PREPARATION OF SHAFT OF COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5916962
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inexpensively prepare the titled shaft high in anti-wear property, by a method wherein the plasma spray unnecessary part of a matrix material is formed into an inclined surface to metal spray an anti-wear material to the whole and, after the anti-wear material on the metal spray-unnecessary part is removed, processing is applied to said matrix material to simplify a metal spray process.

CONSTITUTION: An inexpensive steel pipe is used as the matrix material of the shaft of a compressor and processed to form an auxiliary shaft 11, a crank shaft 10, a main shaft 12, a crank groove part 13 coming to a plasma spray unnecessary part A and a crank oil groove 14 formed as an inclined surface (a) in order to attenuate a close adhesiveness degree with respect to a metal spray direction. In the next step, the matrix material 17 is subjected to cleaning and blast treatments and an anti-wear material is metal sprayed to the treated matrix material 17 from a direction at right angles with respect to the shaft. Thereafter, the metal sprayed surface converted to a rough surface by blast is removed by buff treatment and the anti-wear material adhered to the metal spray-unnecessary part A hardly subjected to blast treatment is easily removed. Subsequently, oil supply orifices 15 are provided to the crank groove part 13 and the crank oil groove 14 by post-processing.
