Abstract:
PURPOSE: To laminate each of a ply by a simple and inexpensive method by forming a flange-shaped edge on the cover ply of the top of a ski in a molding box, adjusting the bottom edge of the ski to the flange-shaped edge, arranging the lower of ski on the top of ski, and jointly the top with the bottom. CONSTITUTION: A decorative ply 24 is arranged in the bottom of a molding box 18 and a cover ply 12 is arranged on the decorative ply 24. The cover ply 12 is arranged along the side wall inclined with an angle (α) for a verticality. In the top end of the molding box 18, the cover ply 12 is made to curve to form a flange-shaped edge 22. The cover ply 12 may be composed of a fiber- reinforced mat material for example. A core 14 is arranged on the cover ply 12, and a buffer ply 16 is arranged in the molding box, thus the core 14 is laterally protected against a shock. The molding box 20 is closed by the cover 20 of a molding box, and when each of the ply is respectively bonded by an adequate pressure and temperature, the top of the ski is manufactured. The top of the ski 10 is combined with the bottom of the ski and bonded with the bottom.
