Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the volume productivity of the titled enzyme, remarkably, by the mixed cultivation of Bacillus cereus and a bacterial strain belonging to Pseudomonas genus.

CONSTITUTION: Bacillus cereus and a bacterial strain belonging to Pseudomonas genus [e.g. Pseudomonas sp. T-1 (FERM P-4847)] are subjected to the mixed cultivation preferably at 25W35°C and 7W8 pH for 7W8hr. The objective enzyme can be prepared usually by separating and purifying the resultant cultured product.
