PURPOSE: To obtain star beads having neither peculiar taste nor feeling of physical disorder without using a core, by blending specific amounts of specified ingredients, solidifying them, pulverizing them, processing them into balls with rotating and stirring, adding particles to the balls so that horns are protruded.
CONSTITUTION: 40W55wt% sugar is kneaded with 10W26wt% fats and oils, 8W 12wt% lactose, 10W30wt% powdered milk and ≤30wt% cacao mass at ≤45°C, cooled and solidified. The blend is pulverized into the particles A having 40W20μ diameters, rotated and stirred with each othr at 60W20m/min peripheral speed at 30W60°C, to give balls. The balls are rotated and stirred by using a flat rotary oven, etc. and the particles A are dividedly added to them, so that horns are protruded form the spherical surfaces.
