PURPOSE: To prepare the compounds by allowing organic halogen compound to react with olefin or acetylene in a multi-phase system in the presence of palladium phosphine complex having different solubility from those of the reaction products and a base so that the separation and the recovery of the catalyst are easily conducted.
CONSTITUTION: When organic halogen compound of formula I [Z is halogen, preferably Br or I; (n) is 0 or I] is allowed to react with olefin of formula II (R is H, alkyl, aryl which may have substituents or hetaryl, CN, COOH, COO-alkyl) in the presence of catalytically active palladium phosphine complex and a base in order to obtain the compound of formula III, the reaction is carried out in two-phases or multi-phases, and the complex is selected so that the complex and reaction products can be each solubilized in a different phase when the reaction is finished, providing easy separation and recovery of palladium complex catalyst from the reaction products.
