To provide a prepreg having excellent workability such as tackiness and drapeability and to provide a fiber-reinforced composite material obtained by curing the prepreg and having excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength and compression strength.
Provided are a prepreg at least including the following constituent components (A) to (E), wherein the amount of the component (B) in the constituent components is 25-45 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of total epoxy resin of the component (A) and the component (B), and a fiber-reinforced composite material produced by curing the prepreg. (A) An epoxy resin containing 3 glycidyl groups in the molecule; (B) at least one of epoxy resin selected from glycidyl aniline, glycidyl o-toluidine, diglycidyl aniline and diglycidyl o-toluidine; (C) a thermoplastic resin having a functional group reactive with glycidyl group; (D) an epoxy resin hardener; and (E) a carbon fiber having essentially true round cross-section.
