PURPOSE: To eliminate the turbidity and interferring components without losing HCG in the tested liquid, by contacting the tested liquid of human placenta sex gland stimulous hormone (HCG) with the carboxilic acid type cation exchange resin fiber or silicon treated glass fiber.
CONSTITUTION: The tested liquid detecting HCG such as body liquid and urine taken from pregnant women immunologically is contacted with the carboxilic acid type cation exchange resin fiber of about 5W15d or silicon treated glass fiber of about 5W15μ in diameter and is filtered. This filtrated test liquid is immediately served for pregnant women diagnostic reaction. The reaction interferring component and turbidity component can be eliminated without incurring substantial loss of HCG in the tested liquid through this preprocessing, and the sensitivity and reliability in the pregnant diagnostic reaction can be increased.
