To provide a preprocessing method of powder to be processed in order to prevent the powder to be processed from being fixed to a hot part in a drier machine, in a drying process of the powder to be processed.
In this preprocessing method of powder to be processed, mixture powder is prepared by mixing powder to be processed of incinerated ash containing water-soluble salts, clod, bottom sediment, polluted mud and the like with powder of incinerated ash, clod, bottom sediment, polluted mud and the like which has percentage of moisture content lower than that of the above powder to be processed, and thereafter the mixture powder is subjected to a drying process. Alternatively, in the preprocessing method of powder to be processed, the mixture powder having a moisture content not greater than 20% is prepared by using the mixture powder after the drying process as the powder having a low moisture content and by using incinerated ash as the powder to be processed and the powder having a low moisture content, and thereafter the mixture powder is subjected to a drying process. Further alternatively, in the preprocessing method of powder to be processed, water is added to the incinerated ash to be processed which contains water-soluble salts, thereby the water-soluble salts are eluted to set the concentration of the water-soluble salts below 2%, and thereafter the incinerated ash to be processed is subjected to a drying process.
