Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of separation of sheath materials like vinyl and electric wire (copper wire) in a regeneration for waste electric wire coated with sheath material, reduce an environment burden and promote the regeneration of the waste electric wire.
SOLUTION: A waste electric wire coated with a sheath material W which is wound circularly in given winding numbers is divided into several partitions by a guillotine cutting device 1, each cut partition of which is sequentially put through a pair of grooved rolls of a compression peeling machine 5, to give the sheath material scratches and separate the sheath material and the electric wire by pressurizing with a pressure roll, then sort and separate both of them by a selective separation 7 or 7', where, the electric wire is collected, while, the sheath material is cleaned by an ultrasonic cleaning 9, reduced to a powder, and pushed out by an extruder 15, and transformed into a pellet type compound.
