Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new regular length string winding drum for winding a string only by a prescribed length for binding and temporarily binding in a wound state, and a winder using the drum.
SOLUTION: The drum consists of a drum body 2 comprising a string engagement part 4 and a notch 5 for binding, a roll tape 6 to be drawn out as a binding tape T, a tape cutter 7 mounted on the top end side of the notch 5 for cutting the binding tape T, and a temporary attaching means 8 for temporarily attaching the binding tape with the adhesive surface facing upward. A prescribed length of the string is wound around the outer surface of the drum body by engaging the top end side of the string (h) with the string engagement part 4 and rotating the drum body a prescribed number of times. The binding tape is drawn out to cover the wound string Wh, and the string Wh on this condition is drawn out forward to be separated from the drum body. In this way, the binding tape surrounds the string Wh and binds the string.
