Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of liquid nitrogen in a preservation device.SOLUTION: A preservation device is provided with: a preservation container 102 in the inner part of which a storage chamber 112 storing an object to be preserved and liquid nitrogen used for cooling the object to be preserved are stored, and in which a liquid phase of the nitrogen is formed on the lower part in the storage chamber 112, a gaseous phase 126 of the nitrogen is formed on the upper part in the storage chamber 112, and the object to be preserved is disposed in the gaseous phase 126; a freezer 104 which has a cooling part 128 disposed in the gaseous phase 126 to condense gaseous nitrogen; and a guiding part 106 which has a liquid drop receiving part 132 disposed on the vertically lower side of the cooling part 128, and a flow passage part 134 connecting the liquid drop receiving part 132 and the liquid phase, and guides the liquid nitrogen condensed by the cooling part 128 to the liquid phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
