To provide a method to carry out preservation or transportation of raw eggs efficiently without using complex operation or a special material and also without decreasing freshness and as the result, to provide a method to decrease preservation and transportation costs of raw eggs and to supply raw eggs to consumers at a low cost and to provide a package for preserving raw eggs for the same.

Raw eggs after laying eggs are packaged with a film package 2 having a gas barrier property hermetically in a state that there is a clearance between the raw eggs 3 and the film package 2 and after negative pressure generated in the film package 2 is eliminated by the shrinkage of the film package 2, they are preserved. The film package 2, with which a chicken egg pack 1 storing raw eggs 3 is packaged hermetically, is composed of the film having the gas barrier property and the chicken egg pack 1 is packaged hermetically, having the clearance to the film package 2, to be package for preserving raw eggs.
