CONSTITUTION: The respective furnitures 13 of a plurality of office furniture groups are provided with the locking or unlocking means 18 of electric operation types having motor actuators 20, and via a furniture group monitoring controller 1, the actuators 20 are operated for locking or unlocking at a proper time and in time series. Besides, at the time of the operation, power to be applied to the actuators 20 is fed in branch to a locking or unlocking detecting sensor 25, an opening or closing detecting sensor 26 for a drawer or the like, and an electrification detecting sensor 27. Then, the respective preserved situations of the furnitures 13 are checked, and based on their detecting signals, the respective furniture groups are certainly locked or unlocked, and the monitoring or the like of the period, time, and the like of locking or unlocking the furnitures 13 and opening or closing drawers or the like, is performed.
