Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press apparatus capable of producing a tubular product having high dimensional accuracy efficiently with a small number of steps and press equipment.SOLUTION: A press apparatus includes a pair of cutting edges which engages with each other as an upper mold descends to cut a hoop material into blank materials of a predetermined size and core bar holding means of holding a core bar with core bar urging means in such a manner that the blank material is bent in a reverse-U shape between the upper mold and the core bar as the upper mold descends and allowing the upper mold, the blank material and the core bar to descend integrally through the operation of the press apparatus after the upper mold comes in tight contact with the core bar through the blank material and forms a steel plate into a tubular product by bending.
