Abstract:
To provide a press detection device in which electrical resistance between a first electrode and a second electrode changes in a form close to monotonous increase as pressing force from a pusher increases.SOLUTION: A press detection device 1 includes an elastomer 3, a first electrode 4, a second electrode 5, and a pusher 7. The elastomer 3 has conductivity. The first electrode 4 is connected to a first region 3A, out of the first region 3A, a second region 3B, and a third region 3C which are sequentially arranged in a specific direction of the elastomer 3, and can be displaced according to the deformation of the elastomer 3. The second electrode 5 is connected to the third region 3C and can be displaced according to the deformation of the elastomer 3. When the pusher 7 receives pressing force from the outside, the pusher presses at least the second region 3B in a direction in which the first electrode 4 and the second electrode 5 are separated from each other by the deformation of the elastomer 3 in response to the pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
