Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply and easily perform compression molding of a press material by automatically performing the operation in which a prescribed quantity of the press material is supplied into a press, compressed and bound.
CONSTITUTION: Rock wool materials measured by a measuring device 5 are thrown in a hopper 4; after a fixed time, a guide cylinder 7 is closed; a part of the side wall of a top holding device 8 is constituted of a guide cover 6; and the bottom part of the hopper 4 is closed with a hopper cover 6a. Then, with a top holding cylinder 10, a top holding cover 9 is lowered; a press truck 3 is forwarded with a press cylinder 2, and simultaneously a stopper at the time of press is made by actuating the exit cylinder of an exit device 16. The rock wool is compressed by the forwarding of the press truck 3; when the compression is raised to a prescribed pressure (about 50kg/cm2), the press truck 3 is forwarded to a prescribed position while the opening and closing motion of the exit cylinder is being repeated; meantime, the compressed rock wool material is bound by a binder 15 and pushed out of the exit device 16.
