PURPOSE: To improve working accuracy by fitting a weight pressing the work by gravity to the press roll block which supports a press roll and suspending the press roll block freely movably vertically on a press suspension frame.

CONSTITUTION: In case of a work 5 being in a standard thickness, a press suspension frame 1 is fixed and there are the upper and lower gaps 8a, 8b in the space with a pin 7 connecting a weight 2 and this press suspension frame 1. In case of the thickness of the work 5 being increased, a press roll block 3 and the weight 2 are moved upward and the upper gap 8a is increased. In case of the thickness of the work 5 being decreased and vise versa, they are moved downward and the lower gap 8b is increased. In either case, the work 5 becomes pressed uniformly to a foundation face 9 by the gravity of the weight 2. Consequently, the working accuracy of the work in cutting is stabilized.
