Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost press device which can cool a metal mold with a good efficiency.SOLUTION: A pump 12 is connected to first and second annular cooling bodies 7, 8 having flow passages 7a, 8a in which water can be flown, and the pump is used for circulating water into the flow passages 7a, 8a thereby performing heat exchange between said water and a metal mold 4. A press device 1 comprises a control board 13 which is so configured as to output an operation signal to the pump 12 thereby starting circulation of water in the flow passages 7a, 8a when a measurement value measured by a radiation thermometer 11 or a calculation value calculated on the basis of the measurement value exceeds a previously stored set value, and on the other hand, not to execute circulation of water in the flow passages 7a, 8a when the measurement value or the calculation value is equal to or less than the set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
