To avoid a pushed trace of a plate holder at a front surface of a metal plate during material feeding, while pressing the metal plate into a metal siding product having a pattern portion and a joint portion at a predetermined feeding interval.
In a press work of the metal siding product from a coiled plate at a continuous production process, the long siding product can be continuously obtained by a press die, in which the metal siding product having the pattern portion and the joint portion, and also a connecting portion at the surface of the metal plate inserted at a predetermined interval can be processed at one time, and further, the trace of the plate holder at the front surface of the metal plate can be avoided, by using a die which is arranged to divide the metal siding product by the joint portion 16 instead of the middle of halfway between the pattern portions 4 and 15 at a front surface of the plate holding side as an inserting side.
