To obtain an embossed product having high quality by holding a metallic sheet in a first process while progressively feeding the metallic plate, pressing an embossed pattern on the sheet surface in the following process and correcting nonconformity of fold, warp, etc., of the sheet developed at the previous process in the successive plural progresses.

The first sheet holding process 1 is constituted with flat sheet holding dies at the upper and the lower parts. The second embossed patterning process 2 is constituted with plural small male and female dies with the embossed pattern having changeable structure in the single die. The dimension of the small die is desirable to be ≥50 mm width and ≥50 mm length. The cross section of the embossed pattern is formed as a broadened trapezoid-shape toward end part having 60-89° angle of the erecting part to the horizontal direction and the flat-shape at the top part. The area ratio of the projecting portion and the recessing portion possessed to the whole pattern is made to in the range of 5:95-95:5. After the patterning process 2, at least two stage of correcting processes 3, 4 are arranged and the nonconformity developed at the time of embossing, is corrected in the same dies 5, 6.
