Abstract:
To provide a press machine which can suppress the variation in the bottom dead point of a slide after the start of a press working operation.
The press machine 2 includes: a press machine body 4; a crankshaft 32 freely rotatably supported to the press machine body 4; a connecting rod 34 freely rotatably connected to the crankshaft 32; a slide 44 reciprocated toward a working region; a plunger 46 suitable for the slide 44; and a link mechanism 38 for mutually connecting the connecting rod 34 and the plunger 46. In the press machine 2, the link mechanism 38 and/or the plunger 46 is formed from a low thermal expansion material.
