Abstract:
To provide a new press molding die capable of reducing cost required for manufacture, maintenance and the like.SOLUTION: A press molding die includes a base (1) in which a plurality of fixed parts (12) are arrayed, and a die unit (2) having a frame (21) that is abutted on a plate material (W) to be press-molded and forms at least a part of a ridge line part of a press molding and supporters (22) that support the frame and are attachable/detachable to the fixed parts. Frameworks having various forms according to the press molding can be formed on the base by combining a plurality or many kinds of die units. The ridge line part of the press molding is formed by the framework. In the case of the press molding die, even when a part of the die units are damaged, only the die unit can be repaired and exchanged. The press molding die can greatly reduce cost, period and man hours required for manufacture and maintenance of the press molding die.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
