Abstract:
To reduce the weight and manufacturing cost of a press-molded product.
The long press-molded product 120 having a hat-shaped cross-section includes a pair of sidewall portions 124 separated from each other and a connecting wall portion 126 connecting the respective ends of the sidewall portions 124. The plate thickness of the sidewall portions 124 and the connecting wall portion 126 in a portion 132 in the length direction is increased by press-molding to more than those of the sidewall portions 124 and the connecting wall portion 126 in a peripheral portion 136 of the portion 132.
