Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly press mold a groove shape by placing two support rollers inside stoppers on a plane in parallel with the groove molding face of a hard pressure contact body of rectangular parallelepiped of a plane support rectilinearly reciprocating along the guide on a base, and supporting a shaft to be molded with these rollers so as to press-form it.
SOLUTION: When a spiral dynamic pressure groove is molded on a shaft for a fluid dynamic pressure bearing, a hard pressure contact body 2 is held with a holder 5, the holder 5 is fastened with a plane support 3 through a parallel spacer 13, and they are reciprocated along a guide 4 by a hydraulic piston. At this time, the hard pressure contact body 2 and the plane support 3 are simultaneously advanced at the same speed in the directions of arrow marks A, A', the rollers 6, 7 contacted with the plane support 3 are rotated in the directions of arrow marks B, B'. Consequently the shaft 1 supported with the rollers 6, 7 is rotated in the direction of the arrow mark C synchronizing with the movement of the hard pressure contact body 2. The outer circumferential speed of the shaft 1 is the same as the moving speed of the hard pressure body 2, and hence the groove shape is press-molded without positional dislocation.
