Abstract:
To propose a technique for charging a material up to an end of a casting.SOLUTION: A press molding device comprises a first metal die and a second metal die. When the first metal die and the second metal die are combined together, a molding space is formed to mold a semi-solidified metal material. The first metal die comprises a through-hole made leading to the molding space, and an ejector member arranged in the through-hole, so that gas can be discharged outside from a gap between a wall face constituting the through-hole and the ejector member. At least part of the gap is arranged along an outer edge-forming portion that forms an outer edge portion positioned at an outer edge of a casting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
