Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the problems, such as poor molding and poor transport, in a press molding of a patchworkpiece blank 2 obtainable by welding a tabular patchworkpiece 6 onto a tabular base workpiece 5.SOLUTION: A press molding method includes transporting a patchworkpiece blank 2 with such an attitude that a patchworkpiece 6 is overlapped on an upper side of a baseworkpiece 5, into between a punch 3 and a die 4; and carrying out a press molding so that a region of the baseworkpiece 5 in which the patchworkpiece 6 is disposed is recessed by a board thickness of the patchworkpiece toward the punch, and the baseworkpiece 5 is flush with the patchworkpiece 6 by a press molded surface 25 close to the die 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
