PURPOSE: To provide a press roller cleaner in the press part of a paper-making machine which can sufficiently meet the speed-up of paper making in recent years because it suppresses droplet formation of a cleaning solution, even when the rotation rate of the press roll is increased to prevent the deterioration of paper quality with droplets and the decrease in draining efficiency.

CONSTITUTION: A pipe 6 which has a plurality of through-holes 7 on the peripheral surface 6a and is opened at both ends 6b, 6b is freely rotatably arranged at a prescribed position on the peripheral surface 1a of a press roller 1 in parallel with the roll 1. A water-jetting pipe 5 having a plurality of nozzles 5a is arranged above the pipe 6 so that the pipe 5 may jet water near the position where the pipe 6 contacts with the press roll 1 and the drainage is installed near both the open ends 6b, 6b of the pipe 6.
